about the tutorial

This tutorial is the amalgomation of six years of tooling around with html.
I started off playing with the raw html tags before editors like Dreamweaver came along to make the pages more attractive without having to worry with why certain areas were displaying incorrectly due to an errantly placed </a>. I'm trying to avoid too much coding skill, as I realise the average net user views such tags as a foreign language. I'll just mention here that because I understand how most of the tags Dreamweaver's basic tools use, I can help explain to people how to design and update a website on a regular basis.
