We are looking for a talented drummer who is interested in performing original music with emphasis on genre juxtoposition, improvisation, noise, extended techniques, and groove. A basic understanding of music theory is essential. if interested in our chaos, click here.

We have finalised the track list for our album and will be entering the studio on the first of the year. A multimedia project is also in the works. When it is completed, clips will be made available here first.

Yesterday evening, with very short notice, The Octopi were provided the opportunity to perform Sun-Ra's Tiny Pyramids on the OU Jazz Ensemble concert. The performance was well-received, and we have been tentatively asked to perform on the next concert in the Spring. Listen to the performance here.
