Infinite Improbability ∞ is comprised of three members who met as composition students at the University of Oklahoma. There, we were students and protégés of the acclaimed composer Christian Asplund. Recently graduated from college, the members of Infinite Improbability ∞ are pursuing a career in the video game music industry. As avid gamers born in the video game era, we are interested in writing great music for great games.

Personnel:

Trey Beauregard – Award winning composer and saxophonist who has performed across the United States and in Mexico. He has earned a bachelor of composition from the University of Oklahoma, where he honed his skills in composition, performance, orchestration and studio engineering. Trey performs regularly with the Tulsa Praise Orchestra and The Octopi.

Chad McKinney – Celebrated composer and guitarist graduating from the University of Oklahoma. He has had numerous works premiered at several universities across the Midwest, receiving scholarships and notoriety. He has played guitar for several bands, including Third Level Magic User, multiple award winning Somniac, and the actively performing group, The Octopi. Chad has also received grants for innovative and experimental electronic compositions such as “Strange Loop #1”.

Curtis McKinney – Acclaimed bassist and composer. Trained at the University of Oklahoma, receiving awards and grants for composition in acoustic and electronic music. His orchestral music has received multiple performances across the Midwestern United States. He has performed across the United States with three bands, including Third Level Magic User, Somniac, and The Octopi.

Hardware: AMD 64-bit 3500+ PC, Blue Sky Media Professional Sound Monitors, Emagic MT4 MIDI interface, MOTU Traveler FireWire Audio interface, multiple outboard effects processors, Elektron Mono Machine, Elektron MachineDrum, multitude of analog/digital synths, several guitars, and a Professional Power regulating unit known as the “Power Squid”.

Software: Cubase SX 3, Gigastudio 3 Orchestra, Kontakt 2, Max/MSP, Reason 3, Reaktor 5, Sibelius 3 notation software, Hundreds of gigs of samples, Vast multitude of Plug-ins, and much more.

Skills: 18+ years of music experience. We can produce music in any genre for any style of game. Having been classically trained for years, we are proficient at composing, recording, producing, and mastering audio for electronic music as well as any size ensemble, including orchestras.
